C&S were engaged as principal contractor after a successful tender process; to carry out full internal, and external refurbishment to this Grade II listed period property.

The 39-room site was remodelled and refitted completely, with full M&E upgrade; including communal areas. The external roofs (flat & pitched) and a complete refurbishment of the stonework and grounds; to the clients GOLD standard.

C&S carried out a variety of works including:

• Flat & pitched roofing 
• Full new M&E upgrade including plant room
• Fire system L1
• Security system
• Ensuites – sanitary wear, tiling, shower rooms
• Rooms – remodelling,  fixed furniture, call system, decoration
• Communal areas – remodelling, fixed furniture, call systems, period features restored, decoration
• Floor coverings throughout
• Accessible baths
• Groundworks
• FRA compliance – new fire door sets, passive fire
• Stone repairs 
• FFE
