Project Details

C&S were responsible for delivering the High Integrity Ventilation Systems for the government COVID-19 testing mega laboratory including 12 individual labs and various other logistic and welfare areas.

C&S carried out a wide scope of works including:

• Fast track project in which over 50000m2 of DW144 High Specification Spiral Ductwork was installed. (This is equivalent to over 20 Miles of 500mm diameter spiral ductwork)
• Bracketry & Ductwork was installed into modules at an offsite facility, transported to site and installed at high level by our experienced team utilising heavy lifting specialists, fixed scaffolds and powered access machines.
• All ductwork leakage tested in accordance with BESA DW143 and achieved Class C very low leakage rate
• All ductwork cleaned to TRI 19 Advanced PDI level (<0.3 g/m2)
• New Fire Dampers installed & tested with existing Fire Dampers also tested & maintained by our operatives.
